All signs are hand painted on glass and include 23ct gold gilding & mother of pearl inset!

Each sign is individually hand painted and reverse glass Gilded, making every single piece individual and imperfect in its nature. Every piece is very fragile due to it being painted on glass so please handle with care to prevent any breakage.

For the background colour of your piece, please type the colour from chart, only one colour way can be selected, colours are all hand mixed so be aware this could differ ever so slightly due to the handmade nature of each piece.

Hey, Hello, Hi, I’m Laura the founder of “Its a sign” a small independent artist specialising in all things signwriting, with my main focus being reverse glass gilding. This technique also known as 'verre églomisé' is a traditional process involving the precise application of designs in gold leaf onto the reverse of glass, creating an amazing and eye catching mirror like finish. By using this historical technique and putting my own twist to it, I make playful and colourful signs for your home or business. Each piece I hand paint on glass with 23ct gold gilding with an injection of bold and popping colours, a sprinkle of glitter and some fun loving expletives. All signs comes fully framed and ready to hang! What are you waiting for? Make your wall glisten!
