Our favourite red berry dates back to Ancient Rome where it was considered the symbol of Venus, the goddess of love, because of its bright red colour and intoxicating taste. If you would like to pop something inside the strawberry you will need to remove the scroll. There is space to fit a tiny piece of jewellery or a lindor style chocolate, or a folded up lottery ticket (to give you some ideas)

Each strawberry comes nestled in straw in its own little cardboard tub, tied up with twine, ready to give.
