Life Isn’t a Race

There have been various interpretations of this story throughout history… it’s one of Aesop’s fables. But for us all, Chrissie from The White Company reminded us about it, in this week’s podcast.

The fable goes…. A hare ridicules a slow-moving tortoise who, tired of the hares arrogance, challenges him to a race. The hare is so confident of winning that he takes a nap and wakes to find the tortoise has beaten him to the finish line! The moral of the story is that you can be more successful by doing things slowly and steadily, than by acting quickly and carelessly

I am all for speed but build for strength. So if it means you take it at a steady speed for a while… that’s okay. Build strong and for the long-term folks XX
