The Small Business Good Life Pledge

When I saw this pic (and I’ve had to come to terms with being photographed as I’m not that comfortable with it) I really smiled. I think it’s a picture which sums up everything I am and for once, I was so happy with it. I even sent so far as to tell the founders, that I’d like that on my Order Of Service at my funeral! Anyway! Enough of that.
.
At our events we always end with the ‘small business good life pledge’  and whilst it may seem like a stunt or something to make us giggle, I truly believe in the power of dreaming and visualising, and speaking the words of the pledge aloud.
.
Something I feel lots of us is scared or reluctant to do when building a business is set specific and measurable goals, for fear of falling short. But setting goals and visualising living them out is what drove me so hard when building NOTHS and is integral whilst building Holly & Co.
.
So please do set your goals, a variety of small and big dreams, personal and business, as you have to be able to tick off those life achievements along the way. If you don’t you will always move the goalposts! I promise you that!
.
What promise can you make yourself today and start acting on? Would love to know what your small business goals are – whether it be the kids drop off and collect each day or to raise £100K for charity through a product line. Remember, you’ve got to have a mix, to find your own ‘good life’ xx
