Painted on a creamware plate from the mid-century, made by Wedgwood, England. The design is called Wellesley and has an ornate embossed border.
These simple still life studies look great on their own or in a group. Building a plate-scape is simple as the plate is ready to hang with a brass plated hanger. Alternatively, you could place it on a special stand.
