We all know someone where their scissors help them be more ‘them’. Be it a hairdresser, someone who’s passionate about dressmaking or just a keen crafter… these elegant Meerut Scissors are named after the town they are made in. Every pair is handmade using a unique traditional process from recycled materials – the blades are made from scrap metal salvaged from old railway carriages, cars and buses.
A smaller, light weight alternative to the Borani Scissors.

Nkuku create beautifully handmade home and lifestyle products, collaborating with Artisans across the world to combine timeless design with traditional skills and natural materials. The name was borrowed from a hut in Zambia and their business plan jotted on the cover of a paperback.
Though the team and products may have grown, Nkuku have the same hands-on approach, meeting and working with all their makers personally, learning each product’s story. They created the incredible Artisan aprons that our barista team are wearing, as well as our gorgeous gold scissor hooks.
