The creators of this wonderful bag, Mims & Family, know only too well what it takes to run a small business. Understanding that everyday we carry with us our hopes and dreams, and how much it takes to get your business out into the world.
A note from Holly…
This product was created in collaboration with Mims & Family to feature in my book, Do What You Love, Love What You Do.
Every micro chapter within the book features a unique small business product which creatively captures the key takeaway. I truly believe in the power of small business and wanted to bring the pages of my book to life in a way never done before, and allow you to share in that magic too. Because, believe me, when you do what you love, you’ll want to wear it, have it in your home and shout it from the rooftops too!

Mims and Family
Mims is a chaser of dreams. She is an adventurer, a believer in magic, a listener, a laugher, a seeker of awe and wonder, a creator, and a mother.
She has a big family (there are five children and lots of animals). And she wanted all her children to be kind and giving, and to be brave enough to be their own unique versions of themselves. So she wrote them a family manifesto; notions to live by.
As a printmaker and an all round creative, she followed her dreams and started a small kitchen table business with her husband way back in 2010. They have embraced the dusk ’till dawn working hours, and have printed, engraved, sewn and made all sorts of lovely things since then, and the business has grown and shrunk, and changed shape many times, but at the core of all their hard work is the manifesto; the celebration of family and friends and our beautiful, fragile world.
Mims and Family know what it’s like to run a successful, creative family business! As a family of 7, 5 children and a menagerie of animals too! They know a thing or two about what it takes to run a small business. Understanding that everyday we carry with us our hopes and dreams, and the how much it takes to get your business out into the world.
‘The amount of care, love and determination that goes into every product, makes it so much more valuable when you shop with a small business. Every penny means so much more, when you vote with your money and spend with a small business.’ – Holly x
