IGTV – What do the lockdown measures mean for my business?

Hello everyone, I hope the sun is shining on you wherever you are today and you are managing to keep your spirits up. Make sure to keep calling and reaching out to your friends and family, get outside for your daily exercise and look at the beauty that surrounds us.

In this IGTV I’m talking about the lockdown measures, what they actually mean and how it will affect you as a small business. The next 3 weeks will be a challenge, but we must now come together to support the NHS and protect the vulnerable.

The good news is that the government are actioning measures to protect small businesses. Commercial tenants will be protected from eviction and the emergency Coronavirus Bill is currently going through parliament which means no business will be forced out of their premises if they miss a rent payment in the next three months.

I’ve got some updates from Royal Mail and how they will continue to operate over this period and I’m also addressing some of the questions you’ve sent in through social over the past 24 hours – thank you so much for these, I will answer as many as I possibly can, as best I can.
