Of course we absolutely couldn’t wait to bring the Work/Shop alive this October with all things…dead! We’ve found some incredible new small businesses to stock on our shelves, so we’ve introduced our local community to everything from the benefits of eating mice and frogs (ok they’re actually beautifully hand-painted and made of chocolate), to scrummy Mexican skull biscuits and ghostly cake pops.
Plus we’ve had the wonderful Aga Skiba in to decorate our windows. Ever since we saw her artistry on display at the Orange Pekoe Tea Room in Barnes, we’ve been in awe. She creates stunning scenes on glass that celebrate nature (and more), and so we commandeered her to fill our windows with extraordinary pumpkins.
Finally, if you’ve been hiding behind a gravestone and haven’t seen it yet, do watch Holly’s Halloween video post on her Instagram for some small business inspiration this October. We can always count on this community (and Holly!) to create something devilishly different. Neither disappoint. Enjoy!
