We’re making this the summer of small business love – and we need your help to spread the message. We want to encourage the nation to show heart by shopping small, asking everyone to think how they could change their usual spending behaviour to support our independents – but we need your help!

Your Campaign Shop Independent Kit
Some of the most colourful and creative businesses out there are independently owned, yet these same businesses have been hit the hardest in recent years. If we don’t support them at this crucial time, we are at risk of losing them altogether. So we need to act now, working collectively to ensure this doesn’t happen.
Within this kit you will find details of the campaign as well as exclusive artwork that you can share to social media and on your travels (and even on your website and shopfronts if this applies to you). Post the images to Instagram, or turn them into a placard – whatever you think will gain the most traction and help spread the word. Just please make sure you tag @HollyTucker, the artist (more information about that in the kit) and use the hashtag #CampaignShopIndependent.

We collaborated once again with the brilliant illustrator Rebecca Strickson to bring our Campaign Shop Independent message to life. Inspired by traditional imagery of trade union banners, Rebecca’s work explores the power of community and collaboration, both of which we harness to spread our campaign message far and wide.
