Not only are the garments beautiful they are all designed and handmade in glorious North Yorkshire from natural fabrics, preloved clothing & textiles.
Our clothes are made to last, non restrictive and roomy. Allowing your child to fully immerse themselves into their imagination and play.

Meet Colony Kidswear
Hello I am Charlotte, the designer maker behind the brand colony kidswear.
Ever since been knee-high I have fond memories of my Mum and Gran sewing: Mending and making, there was always a sewing project on the go somewhere. So, it was no surprise I would find a love for it too.
After having my two wonderful boys my eyes were opened up to the impact we have on our planet day to day, and I wanted to help make a change. So, with over 15 years’ experience as a seamstress, in 2020 I decided to combine my passion for nature and love of sewing to create a fun and child focused clothing brand. One that has sustainability at its core and makes clothes that give kids the freedom to really be kids.
I absolutely LOVE what I do and cannot imagine a day without sewing. It's in my blood let’s say. Knowing I am making a difference one small stitch at a time gives me hope for a better future for our children and the generations to come.
