Hi there I’m Kate the founder behind EmlynDelaney&Co, a contemporary floral artist based in Sheffield.
I have grown up with the cinematic and dramatic Peak District on my doorstep and this has created a lasting impression artistically and historically for me and is a huge inspiration for my profound love of the Mother of all, Mother Nature (I seriously suggest visiting if you haven’t already, it really does have that effect on you!)
I create art on a variety of surfaces, with my exclusive range for Holly & Co being hand painted ceramics. Using both boldly simplified and distorted flora pieces I intend for my artwork to stir emotion and instantly strike a cord with those looking for a link to nature through art, with something that you can treasure for generations.

The story behind the business
Meet Emlyn Delaney & Co
I created EmlynDelaney&Co as an ode to my children, Emlyn, Delaney & Levison (who came post company foundation!)
I wanted to leave the busy fashion design world that I was in to spend more time with my family and enjoy slower living (which I have now found is impossible with three young children and my own business!)
Art, and in particular floral art has always held a light very close to my heart, I am hugely influenced by nature and living in Sheffield I am so immersed in it, be it a stones throw from Brontë inspired moors or inner city botanical gardens.
I started painting again as a way to find myself after having my children and as an outlet for my creativity, which like ivy went out of control and I just wanted to paint on everything and explore my creativity more and more, growing roots into what would become EmlynDelaney&Co.
