We’re inspired by the intense pressure on teenagers (and immature adults) to grow up and acknowledge the impact everyday life can have on mental well-being. Prescribed medication vs self medication are themes which have impacted on us both throughout our lives. Pills are a recurring motif in our work which address issues of mental health and the pressures of growing up / growing older and modern day life.

Profanity, humour, simple fun ideas and poking the man with a stick are strong components of our visual style. Blam & Jack Blam can be seen selling art together [but mostly having fun] at art fairs around the UK.
