With 10 unisex designs to choose from there is something for everyone to love - from a Brave Bear or a Mighty Mouse to a Gentle Donkey or a Clever Fox, the choice is yours.
I pride myself on the high quality and originality of each product, these bonnets are designed to be a little hug for the head of your loved one, a truly special gift that even adults love.

The story behind the business
Meet Hooked By a Fin
Founded in 2018, Hooked by a Fin is a brand specialising in children’s handmade bonnets.
I first picked up a crochet hook on Christmas Day 2017, however this was short lived after I became slightly frustrated.
A month later and with the desire to create something for my children to cherish, I decided to persevere, learning my own way in my own time.
After 6 months of making blankets, teddies and hats I was encouraged to start selling my creations and in July 2018 HBAF was born with a small collection of Animal Teddies.
In November 2018 I made my first Pixie bonnet and 3 months later I made the first animal bonnet – Stay Clever, little Fox.
I designed a further 13 animals over the following 2 years to now form the beautiful family of bonnets that I am so deeply proud of.
I am passionate in making the highest quality handmade hats for children, that even adults love!
