I started the business on our first family holiday with my eldest ‘hotdog’. She was 3.5months old and I had dreams of a beach-like instagram holiday. Instead my beautiful big headed daughter couldn’t find a cool hat to stay on that was comfy, the sun was too hot and the bugs too bitey and we ended up staying inside. However, that was my lightbulb moment. I knew from my role as a Menswear buyer I had the skills to design something better. So I did!

Twelve months of product development, 100 families all over the world testing and feeding back on the hats and we launched. And while our family grew, so did our ranges to include winter hats, scarfs and adult hats.
