Founded in 2016, Pressed and Folded is the joint venture of James and Malissa Brown. Together they design and publish greeting cards, linocuts and screen prints from their studio in Somerset.

Malissa, who has a background in textile design, brings a sophisticated eye for colour and style to the collaboration also an innate understanding of pattern to counterbalance James’ bold graphic style. All linocuts and the 'Handprinted by Pressed & Folded' range of greetings cards are hand inked and printed by James on a vintage Stephenson Blake galley proofing press.

Pressed and Folded are proud to supply some of the finest museum and gallery shops as well as countless independent, lifestyle and gift shops.

They’ve had the pleasure of working with the retail divisions of some fantastic institutions on bespoke projects, clients include The Science Museum, Royal Opera House and The Postal Museum.
