I studied at Harrow, University of Westminster, receiving a BA(Hons) in Studio Ceramics in 1999.

After graduating I taught ceramics for a while, brought up my three children and did a variety of eclectic jobs before eventually dusting off my wheel and returning to making.

I am an obsessive creator and making functional ceramics is the perfect partner to my other expressive endeavours - acting and writing.

My current focus is on functional objects, I'm a strong believer that the simple act of holding a unique hand made item can bring a precious moment of joy to the every day.

In a world of the fast paced, mass-produced, there is something very satisfying and grounding about having lovingly handcrafted objects within your living space.
