I’ve adored handwriting since I was a little girl and have fond memories of entering the lettering competition at my local village fete. After enrolling on a beginner’s calligraphy class and much practise, the rest was history.

When my beloved mama passed away a few years ago, she left behind a little archive of Liberty fabrics and I was determined to combine my love of calligraphy with these beautiful prints in her honour. My handcrafted decorations were thus born, and to this day I try and utilise leftover remnants wherever I can. I work from my home studio in London with my scrumptious little assistant Bernard, my British Shorthair cat!

For me, calligraphy “sparks joy” in the purest sense; a mindful practise that results in a truly unique and personal piece of art, elevating a simple product into an heirloom that can be cherished for years to come.
