The Elvis & Kresse Weekend Bag is handmade from genuine decommissioned fire-hose and the lining is made from material rescued from Burberry's Yorkshire workshop and military-grade parachute silk. A few select pieces will come with a reclaimed auction banner lining. Each bag is totally unique, no two Elvis & Kresse bags are ever the same.

Previously deployed in active duty for up to 25 years, fighting fires around the UK, the hard-wearing hose is perfectly suited for your travels. The wide mouth opening of our holdall makes packing, unpacking and searching very easy and the generous sizing means you can take everything you need for a weekend away. The bag has an easy access external pocket, an internal zip pocket and 3 further internal poacher-style pockets.

Our fire-hose Weekend Bag is an iconic bag, which is held as part of the permanent collection at the Victoria and Albert Museum.

50% of profits go to The Fire Fighters Charity

Elvis & Kresse

Kent, UK

Elvis & Kresse was established in 2005 to save London's decommissioned fire-hose, hoses that had become too damaged to repair and were going to landfill. We fell in love with these brave old hoses and mounted a rescue.

Today, Elvis & Kresse's highly skilled craftspeople make beautifully designed accessories (bags, belts and wallets) and homeware from 15 different reclaimed materials. We now have several charitable partnerships and collaborations across industries. 50% of profits from the fire hose range go to The Fire Fighters Charity. 50% of the profits from our rescued leather pieces are donated to Barefoot College International. In 2021 Elvis & Kresse also took on a farm in order to establish a regenerative agriculture project, generate their own renewables and implement a host of environmental initiatives.

Sustainable luxury since 2005: rescue, transform, donate.
