- Safety & Compliance: ### Fire Safety Compliance & Construction **Outer Knitted Cover:** - Handmade from recycled cotton cord with a polyester core (approximately 80% cotton, 20% polyester). - Knitted fabric tested to BS 5852: Part 1: 1979, Ignition Source 0 (Cigarette Test). - The outer cover is non-removable. **Inner Bag & Fire Barrier:** - Inner bag containing the EPS bead filling. - Incorporates a fire-resistant interliner meeting Schedule 3 of the UK Furniture and Furnishings (Fire) (Safety) Regulations 1988. **Inner Filling:** - Filled with lightweight expanded polystyrene (EPS) beads. - Filling tested in accordance with Schedule 2, Part I, based on BS 5852: Part 2: 1982 (Ignition Source 2). **Fire Safety Compliance:** Our knitted pouffes comply with the applicable requirements of the UK Furniture and Furnishings (Fire) (Safety) Regulations 1988, as amended. **Additional Safety Information:** - Suitable for indoor use as a footstool or occasional seat. - Keep away from naked flames and direct heat sources. - Do not open or wash the inner bag, as this may compromise its fire-resistant properties. - The outer knitted cover is non-removable. Spot clean only with a damp cloth and mild detergent. - This product is not a toy. Adult supervision is recommended when used by children.
