Description

This is a baby book designed by one tired parent to be enjoyed by another. Time moves in a mysterious way with babies and so this book is deliberately vague, allowing you to drop in and out and includes a ‘notes’ section so things can be jotted down quickly. From my own experience the things I wanted to record and cherish was not the physical growth or the ‘normal’ milestones but the details in between; the way he ‘honked’ as he fed or seemed like he was conducting an orchestra as he twitched in his sleep. The patchwork design means every cover is one of a trio with each colourway being cut from three cloth panels. Parenthood can be hard to say the least so this creates a connection with other parents, a reminder that you are not alone.

Need to know

Finished book size: 17.7 x 20 x 1.7 cm, 80pp

This book consists of 80 pages in total almost all of which are printed. At the start you will find pages to add details from the first moments after babies arrival including all the ‘traditional’ information …weight, time, location etc. Further pages allow plenty of space to write and add details at your leisure and has been left suitable vague in order to record the experience of parenthood as you wish. The book also houses an envelope to hold a person letter for your child for them to read one day in the future. At the back of the book there is a ‘notes’ section for quick jotting that can be added to the main pages later.

Colour ways to choose from are:

Sugar & Spice (Marzipan / Nutmeg / Mustard)
The Blues (Steel Blue / Powder Blue / Cassius Blue)
Neapolitan (Blush / Fawn / Ivory)
The Greens (Pistachio / Olive / Chartreuse)
Golden Hour (Apricot / Lemon / Canary)
The Pinks (Coral / Rose / Sweetheart)

Please note, as explained in the product description, each Baby Book cover is created using a ‘patchwork’ of cloth pieces. Therefore the positioning of each colour panel may vary from the product images. This is part of the book’s charm, cloth pieces for three books are all cut from the same panel of cloth thus connecting us all in the joys and terrors of parenthood.

As every book is made by hand each one may differ fractionally from the above measurements.

The book paper is produced in the UK and is printed in Kent. Every book cover is created using high quality recycled grey board and covered in book cloth made in the UK.

Each book is made by hand to order by Keep Collect in Margate, Kent.
