Inspired by the language of flowers ~ where sentiments were once expressed through blooms ~ and devotional saint medals, small tokens worn for comfort, protection, and remembrance.

I was drawn to the thought that flowers might serve a similar purpose: carried for protection, given as a blessing, or kept as a reminder of love and strength, each one chosen to express what words alone cannot.

Made with real flowers in sterling silver, using the traditional technique of lost wax casting. Each piece is carefully boxed, with our seasonal scented posy, and a Victorian puzzle purse holds the meanings and folklore behind your flowers. The story there, when it's opened.

The necklace is a traditional curb chain with interlocking links that lie flat and smooth against the skin. First developed in the 19th century and named for its resemblance to the curb bit used in horse bridles, it soon became a favourite for Victorian watch chains and fobs. Admired for its strength, flexibility and subtle shine, it has remained a classic ever since.
