We're a dynamic duo in life and work, and our artsy indie business began during parental leave, when late-night feeds sparked dreams of starting our own family-run venture. We kicked off with a pop-up stall at the Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta—and yippee, people loved what we made! From there, we transformed the old fishmonger's into our creative and colourful nook. Now, our gallery and shop in dreamy Dartmouth is celebrating five wonderful years.

Who are we? Bert is at the heart of our brand, a contemporary artist whose bold, vibrant line art is inspired by the beauty of nature and the ocean. His designs bring joy to everyday living with their simple, captivating style. Lisa pretty much does everything else - we call her the "buoy", because she keeps our little brand afloat.

From our ink-splattered Devon studio to collaborations with talented artisan friends, we create heirloom-quality, British-made products using sustainable materials—because there’s no Planet B. We’re always dreaming up new ideas, seeking out more beautiful collaborations and we currently work in paper, ceramics, textiles, metals and wood.

We also take on bespoke projects from immersive takeovers and large scale murals to private commissions for custom art and interiors too. You might have seen our work in The Guardian, Coast, Mollie Makes, The Observer—or perhaps brightening someone's beautiful home!
