Jessie Morrison Ceramics

West london

Jessie's ceramics are a lovely combination of thought-out functional and beautiful homeware for the every day.

Although she fell in love with clay at school, it's wasn't until May 2020 that she fully threw herself into it with a course in wheel thrown pottery. And since then she has been creating and honing her favourite pieces.

From candle holders to personalised wall platters or chip and dip dishes, there is something for everyone.

The story behind the business
Meet Jessie Morrison Ceramics

Hi! Thank you for visiting my page on Holly & Co. I am so happy to be amongst these fearlessly independent makers.

I began my official journey in being a ceramic artist in May 2020 when I took a course in wheel throwing. It was a time in my life (after having my 2nd child) that I really needed to get a bit of me back. And I did!

What do I love about ceramics? I think it is how I can create something functional but beautiful out of nothing. For example, I needed to create some organisation into my children's overflowing colouring pens and felt tip situation, so I made them a set of personalised pen pots.

I am a part-time ceramic artist and work in a communal studio for my wheel thrown pieces and at home for my hand-built pieces such as the personalised platters or jewellery dishes. And anything hand-painted is done at home - I particularly really love this part of the process so I often do it as my down time.
