Founded by designer Genesta Gunn, Kintails is inspired by her life and adventures with her Border Terriers George and Cod Fish. The Kintails process starts and ends with consideration for canine companionship at every stage, embodying the ethos of expert craftsmanship, sustainable practices and supporting independent business. Each piece is thoughtfully designed and handmade by Genesta in the Kintails studio in Cornwall.

We are keenly aware of our impact on the world and our responsibility towards keeping this to a minimum. Our production is always small: once our leather has been expertly cut in London, each item is carefully handmade in the Kintails studio in Cornwall, reducing overproduction while offering our customers a level of exclusivity on our products. All our orders are sent in plastic-free home-recyclable mailing bags using a carbon neutral courier.
