Meet Little Fish Design
Working as both an artist & graphic designer I'm interested in the overlap of both disciplines. This series of limited edition prints first found life during lockdown, born out of respectfully revisiting the classical paintings of Goya, Velasquez, Titian et al and the cheeky desire to play around and alter them in some way. Combining them with contemporary & vintage graphics, hence arriving at an ongoing series of humorous works entitled 'The Product Placement Project'. These works seem to have hit a cord with many folk and have been exhibited widely, including; The Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair 2021, 2022, 2023. The Wells Art Contemporary 2021. RA Summer Exhibition 2022. The Black Swan Open 2020, 2021, 2022. The Watts Gallery Print exhibition 2023. With an article devoted to this work in The Observer in April 2021. Winner of The Evolver prize 2023.
