Hi, I’m Sarah and I run Lomond Paper Co. a creative studio based on the West Coast of Scotland. I decided to stop procrastinating and started my business back in 2015. I wanted to create a brand to explore my creativity and the aesthetics that I love. My business gives me the ability to explore my creativity and still be around for my children.
My aim is to deliver luxury paper products with pretty illustrations for all occasions. I am hugely inspired by nature, and I love playing with colour combinations. All my designs are now created on the iPad Pro, and I tend to use a variety of techniques from pencil drawings to painting in gouache

When I was young, I believed a creative career wasn’t financially viable but after moving to Scotland in 2005 from the south of England, I found the landscape magical and the people so welcoming that I finally found the confidence to start doing what I loved. I decided to explore my creativity and started Lomond Paper Co. in December 2015 after my children started school.
I love colour, pattern and nature and I have always been drawn to cards. I believe playing leads you in the right direction and that is how I have designed everything so far. I just play and see what happens I don’t give myself any restrictions. I use Procreate on the iPad Pro to draw as I find my ideas can be brought to life quicker. I tend to use gouache, watercolour and pencils to create artwork, and I do love the look and feel of things being hand drawn.
