Hi, I’m Louisa and I’m the owner of Louisa Paints Things. I live and work from my home in Sheffield which I share with my lovely husband and my two beautiful children.

I started painting again when I had my first child and things had got a bit busier (!) and I needed a way to relax in the evening. As I practiced more and more, I found that I loved the combination of the watercolour painting with modern calligraphy. I made things for my friends and family and then realised that I got a real joy from creating pieces that were displayed with pride in peoples homes. Now, I create many items that are personalised, completely unique and often slightly imperfect, but I find that only adds to the appeal!
