It all stems from my own children - what they like and what I’d like them to wear! The inspiration for my prints varies from current fashion trends to my doodles. All prints are designed by me and are unique to the brand. We manufacture everything locally in Sheffield, using a team of machinists - which has been a wonderful experience for me. We’re also made-to-order business.. which means nothing goes to waste! We make what we need, when we need :)

Marmalade Sky began after the birth of my eldest son. I didn’t want to dress him in cheesy logos and stereotypical boy prints but my intention was never anything more than dressing him. Originally I was a womenswear designer, so I used this skill to design fabrics and make clothes for my son. But after countless compliments and numerous requests from other mums I realised others felt the same and there was a gap in the market… and just like that, the Marmalade Sky was born.
