Starting out as a Graphic Designer in 2010, with a love of all things Lettering & Typography… & fast forward all the way to 2020 (or as we know it – lockdown, sigh!) when not only had this curiosity, that & a whole load of newfound time, lead to Lana discovering the art of Chainstitch Embroidery. A truly unique and handmade technique, where no two pieces are exactly alike. Which is exactly what makes each piece extra special.

Lana founded Moonlight Motel to celebrate this fine craft and to keep the vintage embroidery method alive, to create high-quality, beautiful cursive lettering and customisations that are accessible to everyone.
