Redbellyboy, AKA Ewan Taylor, is an artist specialising in limited edition, handmade screen prints. His unique style draws inspiration from pop culture, film, graphic design, loud music and tries to squeeze as much of it in as possible. Bright colours, bold lettering, intricate designs, and humour are all key ingredients.
Ewan Taylor, AKA Redbellyboy is a filmmaker and artist. Originally from Aberdeen, Scotland, he studied at Edinburgh College of Art before moving to London, where he lives with his brilliant wife, beautiful baby boy and constantly hungry cat.
He draws inspiration from pop culture, film, graphic design, loud music and tries to squeeze as much of it into his work as possible. Bright colours, bold lettering, intricate designs, and humour are all key ingredients in his work. He works out of Print Club London in Hackney, London.
In 2020 and 2021 Redbellyboy created work for Print Club London’s collaboration with the iconic Katharine Hamnett 'Choose Love' charity campaign.
In 2021 and 2022 he exhibited at The Other Art Fair in London. FAD magazine pick him as one of the best of the fair. He has also exhibited at 99 Projects Gallery London, The Affordable Art Fair and had his first solo show at The Farm, Soho in 2021.
His print 'Women of The World Take Over' was selected by Grayson Perry to be part of the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition 2022.
He has gallery representation with Jealous Gallery, Print Club London, Rise Art, Art Pistol and now the brilliant Holly & Co.
Collectors include Caroline Quentin, Paul Whitehouse and Frankie Boyle.
