Founded by two friends Ella + Lydia, Teppi is a slow living lifestyle brand, inspired by the simple, slow living aesthetic of Scandinavian culture.
With concepts such as hygge and fika, the Scandinavian culture simply illustrates an alternative remedy to the stresses and strains of daily life. It was from these ideals of comfort, simplicity, belonging and the feeling of home, that Teppi was born.
Our cosy Scandi brand is best known for our range of handmade ceramics, designed to bring timeless character and one of a kind charm to your home for many years to come.

If you're wondering where the name ‘Teppi’ comes from then let us fill you in...
Teppi's conception evolved from a truly inspiring trip to Iceland, where the simplicity and slow living lifestyle of Nordic culture completely stole our hearts.
‘Teppi’ is the Icelandic word for ‘blanket’, which happens to be a particular souvenir that we both determinedly brought back from our trip to Iceland, despite having to sacrifice many items from our suitcases in the process!
These gorgeous wool blankets are the very essence of Iceland, they encapsulate the ideals of simple folk living as well as holding the elements of comfort, cosiness, and a longing for home, which is exactly what we aim to create through our timeless range of handmade ceramics.
Still very much a treasured possession in both of our homes, these blankets are such a special reminder of happy memories created in Iceland, and we’re so happy to have been able to represent this in our brand name - Teppi.
