Verity Isabelle began with my lifelong love of sewing, knitting and crochet, fitted in over the years around raising my family. My youngest daughter, Verity Isabelle, inspired the name of my little business, which first began with handmade photography props and heirloom party pieces.

After losing my mum, my work began to take a slightly different direction. She adored anything vintage, especially dolls and toys, and the Veronica Bunnies are named after her. I still think of Mum while choosing the fabrics, adding each tiny detail and dressing every bunny in their little clothes.

Everything is handmade by me in my studio on the Lancashire coast, using beautiful natural materials such as linen, soft cotton, silk and lace, along with hypoallergenic or natural wool stuffing. I create each piece slowly and carefully, with a love of traditional craftsmanship and the hope that it will be treasured long after the celebration has passed.

Whether chosen for a birthday, a special photograph or imaginative play, every Verity Isabelle creation is made to become part of a family’s happiest memories.
