Hello! I’m Louise Burgess, face and founder of wini-tapp. Essentially, wini-tapp is a decorative and gift brand, that sells paper based products, ranging from cut and make kits to decorative kinetic mobiles. The work is characterised by a painterly illustrative style - full of joy and fun. All products are handmade and produced in the UK and printed onto FSC certified cardstock and paper.

Wini-tapp originated around 8 years ago, when my daughter was still quite small. My back ground, before founding the company, was in fine art and art education. I switched to a more illustrative and commercial path as I wanted to have a better income and flexibility around raising a family.
Around this time I also created the first cut and make puppets for a children's workshop. Witnessing how the children’s imagination was ignited by the activity, I decided to make them more widely available to a bigger market. Since then I haven’t looked back and the range has widened into garlands, kinetic mobiles, calendars, and cut and makes artist puppets to name a few.
