In 2008 I made a tattoo inspired heart brooch for Amy Winehouse, emblazoned with her husband's name BLAKE. She was first photographed wearing it, pinned to a vest, on a prison visit to see her incarcerated husband. Amy was then subsequently photographed numerous times, in public, as well as concerts and award shows wearing my heart brooch pinned into her hair. The rest as they say, is history!

These personalised heart brooches are not just for Valentines day- they make lovely gifts for lovers, friends, hens, brides, bridesmaids, mums, (the list goes on!) any time of the year.

Each brooch is cut and stitched by hand, using vegan friendly, faux leather. Even the tiny black lettering on the while scroll has been hand cut- no fancy machinery here, just me and my little scissors!

On the reverse, you will find the heart backed with red faux leather, a Love From Hetty & Dave label, and securely stitched brooch back. Padded and tactile, they are very squishable, and beautifully lightweight, so no need to worry about it pulling on your clothes.

Measures approximately 8cm x 7cm.

Packaged in a simple white gift box, tied with a satin bow, so you don't need to worry about gift wrapping!
