The process of Suminagashi involves inks being placed on the water surface. They are only encouraged to move by air, nothing else disturbs the surface. The colours move in an organic way - when a dynamic pattern has been shaped, a print is made by placing and moving the paper on the water.

We help realise customised projects in collaboration with private & commercial clients. The studio’s wallpaper has not only been commissioned for walls, but also to transform headboards, kitchen backsplashes and wall panelling features.

The marble wallpaper offers to be an affordable and sustainable alternative to stone.

Please note the colours will vary as the inks are prepared fresh for each print run.
