“Buzz the Punk Budgie” Lino prints...

“Buzz the Punk Budgie” Lino prints.

Budgies, outside of being a working class childhood staple, represent balance & harmony, positive growth, faithfulness & loyalty and new love.Buzz is beautifully hand printed with a 3 colour sprayed initial layer, overlaid with a hand printed Lino plate layer. Finished off with a hand painted 24 carat gold powder perch.

A tiny edition of only 13 and each one is unique, Pink and Blue

Buzzcock was in fact the pet of Pete Shelley’s granny and went to every Buzzcocks gig from 76-81 before his tragic ending in late 1981 when his Trill was spiked during the bands final UK tour. This portrait is to commemorate a true legend of the Punk scene, Buzzcock The Budgie gone but never forgotten
