Kristjana’s much loved Queen Bee hovers steadily over London town, unburdened by the weight of the magnificent British crown, its antennae scanning for the most vibrant of districts, Carnaby, the home of Kristjana’s new pop up. The duck egg Thames rainbows under oscillating wings that hold aloft symmetrical stripes bearing tiny versions of the iconic red London trio - bus, phone box and post box. Motifs of melody and sound signify this Queen’s communicative role in nature, yet a diminutive timepiece alludes to the transitory nature of her being.
