  • Sold individually. Choose to add a matching wooden spoon.
  • Handmade ceramic salt pig with a glazed interior (choose from white, grey, or pale blue) and an unglazed exterior.
  • The optional spoon is handmade from reclaimed oak, finished with a blend of Cornish beeswax and hemp oil.
  • Dimensions: approximately H 8cm x W 9cm.
  • Spoon length: 9cm.
  • Care: Microwave & Dishwasher safe
  • Handmade in the UK.
  • All spoons are made by Zennor Made in their Cornish workshop near St Ives.
  • 100% natural made from just wood and finished with hemp oil and beeswax.
  • Finished with a blend of pure organic Cornish beeswax (Gwenen apiaries) and organic uk grown and produced hemp oil (vitality hemp)

A rounded ceramic salt pig that adds charm to your kitchen while keeping your salt perfectly accessible...

A rounded ceramic salt pig that adds charm to your kitchen while keeping your salt perfectly accessible.

Each piece is hand-thrown on the potter's wheel and trimmed with a rounded base. When the pots are still damp they are pushed at an angle so each salt pig will sit with a tilt or upright, making it perfect to hold salt and scoop it out easily.

The inside and rim are glazed in a choice of 3 glazes: shiny white, shiny grey, or a satin matt blue. The outside is left unglazed, giving a lovely contrast of textures between the smooth interior and the natural exterior. Available with or without a matching wooden spoon for serving.
