Steady, kind, and quietly dependable, Edwin the Donkey is Rupert’s House’s most faithful companion.

Edwin doesn’t rush. He believes in taking things one step at a time, being there when needed, and carrying more than his fair share without complaint. Gentle by nature and endlessly patient, he has a calm presence that makes everything feel a little more manageable. He may look slightly world-weary at times, but that’s only because he cares so deeply.

Small enough to slip into a pocket or rest comfortably in a little hand, Edwin is hand knitted from beautifully hand-dyed wool and alpaca yarn. He’s lightly filled with a thoughtful blend of pure wool and acrylic toy stuffing, giving him a soft yet reassuring feel. Finished with silk-embroidered eyes, a contrasting cream muzzle, and his naturally wayward mane and tail, Edwin is full of character and quiet charm.

Edwin is the sort of companion who stays close, listens well, and reminds us that kindness and steadiness go a very long way.
