Need to Know

Material: wheel-thrown British flecked stoneware clay with an off-white satin glaze and hand-painted blue stripes.

Please Note: intentionally handmade with a flecked stoneware clay.
Stripes are hand-painted, making every piece one-of-a-kind.
In some areas, often towards the base, the stripe may show in a much stronger colour.
As each piece is truly handmade and wheel-thrown, shapes may vary slightly - all measurements are approximate.

A boiled egg deserves its own little moment. This set of two handmade stoneware egg cups brings a touch of colour and character to the breakfast table, with hand-painted blue stripes that make every piece wonderfully individual.

Made entirely by hand in our Dartmoor studio, each egg cup is wheel-thrown from British flecked stoneware clay, hand-painted with blue stripes and finished with our signature off-white satin glaze. The blue stripes are painted by hand, so you'll find subtle variations in the brushwork from one egg cup to the next, making each one truly unique. From the gentle differences in shape to the individual brushstrokes, each piece reflects the skill and craftsmanship of the maker.

Designed to hold a boiled egg neatly and securely, these egg cups are made for everyday rituals - from slow Sunday breakfasts shared together to a quick boiled egg before the day begins.
