Need to Know

Material:

Wheel-thrown British flecked stoneware clay with an off-white satin glaze and hand-painted blue stripes.

Please Note:

Intentionally handmade with a flecked stoneware clay.
Stripes are hand-painted, making every piece one-of-a-kind.
In some areas, often towards the base, the stripe may show in a much stronger colour.
Microwave and dishwasher safe, though handwashing is always recommended for handmade items.
As each piece is truly handmade and wheel-thrown, shapes may vary slightly – all measurements are approximate.

Crafted entirely by hand in our Dartmoor studio, it is wheel-thrown using British flecked stoneware clay, finished in our signature off-white satin glaze, and hand-painted with blue stripes.

Every stripe is individually painted, creating gentle variations in colour and movement that celebrate the beauty of handmade ceramics. No two jugs are ever exactly alike. From the subtle differences in shape to the individual brushstrokes, each piece reflects the skill and craftsmanship of the maker.
