Created because we all need something more beautiful than a match box for lighting our fires!...
Created because we all need something more beautiful than a match box for lighting our fires!
Phrases are designed to bring a little smile with every fire or candle lighting! I think they make a great gift for the person who has everything and has a similar sense of humour or music taste!
Vessel is made using a pinch pot technique with high fired creamy coloured stoneware clay. The base has a circle of match paper for striking the matches. Each letter is individually pressed into the clay to create the phrase - so exact lettering layout may vary from example photographed. Lettering is glazed in a red colour, exact shade of red may vary slightly.
Comes in a variety of phrases and words including:
'Hot Stuff'
'It's getting hot in here'
'I'm the firestarter'
'Match made in heaven'
'I love you very match'
'The perfect match'
'Come on baby' - 'Light my fire' (on the reverse)
Need to know
Please do not store directly on top of hot wood burning stoves and keep away from damp/wet surfaces (as you would with all matches).
Does NOT come with the matches included due to matches being a prohibited mailing item by all couriers.
Measurements:
The tall pot is approximately 4cm diameter by 4-5.5cm tall and will hold at least one full box of extra long matches.
The short pots are approximately 4cm x 3-4cm tall and hold approximately half a box of standard cooks matches.
