Hex is a beautiful handmade hammer with a fumed Oak handle, a tool for the craftsman to treasure. Intended for the finer jobs in the workshop. Fitted with a solid brass hexagonal head and mounted on a European Oak handle which has been fumed with ammonia to form its distinctive chocolate colour which perfectly complements the brass. The head is secured with a Maple wedge and the entire hammer is finished with hard wax oil. The perfect tool for finer jobs in the workshop; great for precision metalwork, jewellery making, setting hand plane blades and work with Japanese chisels. A treasure for craftspeople who really cherish their tools.
