A unique, intricate hand cut collage, made with watercolour painted papers in shades of deep indigo blue.
The flowers and bird motifs are created with paper sculpting techniques to give a depth to the design of this wall hung piece.
Drawing on my background in textile design my original artworks are inspired by textile patterns and folk art, taking inspiration from historical printed fabrics and experiences of domestic life.
My commercial design has always found a starting place with collage. Relatively recently I have developed a fine art practice producing larger artworks for display and I am pleased to be able to offer a small number of these works for sale exclusively on Holly & Co.
