Need to Know
- Each kit contains:
- 1 x traditional lino (grey with hessian backing)
- 1 x white MasterCut lino block
- 1 x easy carve blue lino block
- 1 x Essdee brand cutting tool with aluminium ferrule
- 5 x Essdee blades for lino cutting (in matchbox) with instructions
- 1 x anti-slip safety mat to use when carving
- 1 x printing ink roller (brayer) Essdee 100mm
- 1 x acetate sheet for inking
- 5 x (30ml) tins containing water based printing ink - yellow, red, blue and black and white
- 1 x Memento ink stamp pad
- 1 x plastic inking spatula (to apply and mix inks)
- 3 x small blank square cards (with envelopes)
- 3 Instruction booklets to do 3 projects at home
- 1 x tracing paper
- 2 x graph paper
Storage - always store the kit flat so that the inks in tins do not work their way out
- Designed for beginners; contains sharp tools. Please only use unsupervised if you are 12+ years old
- For those younger than 12, parental supervision is a must

A lino printing starter kit for beginners, designed to help you create three beautiful prints from home.
The kit is designed for a beginner in lino printing, or for someone who is keen to continue their printmaking journey
Lessons included are: Block stamp pattern printing (level: easy), Relief block printing (level: intermediate) and Reductive carving (level: most difficult).
Each Lino kit is handmade by me in my studio in Cornwall (including hand stamping each kit box) and all items in the kit are ones used and recommended by me in my own printmaking practice. Kit designed and made by a UK based Art and Design teacher and avid printmaker who loves nothing more than teaching others to share in her love of carving and printmaking.
