Need to Know
- This is an 18 page instruction booklet/sewing pattern.
- All required pattern pieces are rectangles, the full dimensions of which are provided. Therefore please note that this sewing pattern does not include any physical pattern pieces.
- Materials required per cracker:
- 54 x 19cm main fabric (e.g. quilting weight cotton; avoid heavy weight, sheer or stretch fabrics and anything that can’t be ironed)
- 56 x 19cm lining fabric (e.g. eg. cotton lining; avoid heavy weight, sheer or stretch fabrics and anything that can't be ironed)
- 38 x 17cm very heavy weight single sided fusible buckram (e.g. Vilene S133)
- 100 cm ribbon (suggested width 10 - 20mm)
- Cracker snap.
- Matching thread.
- Finished cracker dimensions: 6.5 x 6.5 x 32cm approx.
- Skill level: Beginner/Intermediate.
- Each cracker involves stitching a few short straight seams using a sewing machine.
- A small amount of hand sewing using a simple running stitch is also required.
- Familiarity with following a sewing pattern is helpful but not essential.
