A signed limited edition print featuring an image of a paper sculpture, made by paper artist Lucy Dorothy, and inspired by the Observer’s Pocket Book of Garden Flowers.

The print captures all the wonderful details from the original paper sculpture. A much-loved copy of the Observer Book of Garden Flowers has been repurposed to form a house, complete with rooftop, window box and front border, all overflowing with delicate paper flowers. A sash window and three visiting butterflies, carefully cut by hand from found papers, complete the scene.

Printed on thick archival paper which has a velvety tactile feel, the print features a white border, so can be easily framed with or without a mount.

Need to know

The print measures 40 x 40 cm, with the printed image measuring 36 x 36 cm.

To give an idea of how the print could be displayed, some of the images shown feature the print framed and with a floating mount. The mount and frame are used for display purposes only and are not included with the print.

The print will be shipped flat in a protective cardboard wrapper, and inside a cellophane sleeve to prevent water damage.

There are 50 prints in this limited edition set and each one has been numbered and signed by the artist.

The paper used is a 310gsm archival quality Hahnemühle German Etching paper. Hahnemühle German Etching is a traditional mould-made copperplate printing paper, complete with an inkjet coating designed especially for Fine Art applications. The white art paper made from 100% alpha cellulose is characterised by its extraordinary velvety tactile feel and its fine, clearly defined felt structure.
