The story behind the business
Meet Lucky Budgie

Pea believes in the power of words to change the world; he likes to share serious and irreverent ideas in an affordable, democratic way. He enjoys connecting and collaborating with like-minded people and has a strong leaning towards social justice.

He works at a furniture charity in Hastings as well as making prints to sell for outlets such as the V&A and Holly&Co. He has run printing workshops for groups from all walks of life and all abilities at many of the galleries and museums in East Sussex. He sometimes works as a community artist.

He ran the Big Steam Print Project with Ditchling Museum in 2016 which involved taking a vintage steamroller on tour to make huge prints.

He’s a self-confessed aubergine enthusiast and tarot nerd. He wears pyjamas at all times, if at all possible.

But mostly, he’s just a boy, who used to be a girl, trying to grow a beard.
