I felt compelled to make this print when I first heard Brene Brown quote it in one of her epic Ted Talks. I've edited the original a bit...

"The credit belongs to the woman who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood; who strives valiantly ...who spends herself in a worthy cause; who at the best knows in the end the triumph of high achievement, and who at the worst, if she fails, at least fails while daring greatly, so that her place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who neither know victory nor defeat."

The original version is from Citizenship in a Republic, the title of a speech given by Theodore Roosevelt, former President of the United States, at the Sorbonne in Paris, 1910. There's a strong chance Eleanore Roosevelt wrote that speech anyway so I feel entirely justified in changing it.
